Portraits in Color

For my final I was thinking of using cynaotypes and playing a little more with color like in my first pictures. The theme I was thinking of doing is portraits of various people both male and female and for now I havent found the models but if I cant find any I will change my theme a little. As for playing with changing the color I have already a few ideas of different colors I want to try so it should be interesting to see the end result.

  1. Start experimenting with the color now... Do you have any cyano fabric left?

What sort of portraits are these going to be?

  2. Yea i have a few fabrics left not many but i was wanting to start experimenting i already have like 3 different colors i want to experiment with and i was wondering what was the process you did with rob that the pictures came out like a light brown. As for the portraits im not sure yet but i was thinking of doing maybe 3 males and 3 females or maybe if possible more people and doing different photographs like one profile, one straight on, another from a different point of view and i wanted to do it with no shirts on from the shoulders up so they seem naked kinda giving the message of this is the real person nothing they can hide behind, very natural and real.

  3. I'm interested to see what you can accomplish with this, you did an excellent job with the coloring on the original cyanotype assignment. I'm not entirely certain as to where you're going with this outside of the general realm of natural and real portraiture. I would think more about what you can do to push that idea of unaltered natural portraiture (i.e. no makeup, bed head hair, etc..."
